Xiaomi Senior Vice President Zeng Xuezhong mentioned the next generation Image Processor (ISP) which he says will be based on the Surging C1 and will greatly surpass it.

Recall that in 2017, Xiaomi released the Surging S1 single-chip system, but then the company took a big break and only released the Surging C1 in March of this year. It is, unlike the Surging S1, an independent image processor (ISP). This processor was installed in the first Xiaomi mobile phone with a folding Mix Fold screen.

The Surging C1 processor uses Xiaomi's proprietary algorithms to help smartphones perform more complex and better image processing. This processor is responsible for fast and accurate auto focus, white balance and auto exposure.
