SMS.ru Disabling a short name in Megafon

The news came on December 30th, right before the New Year. Original quote: "From January 1, the Megafon operator will turn off free senders and introduce a subscription fee. According to preliminary data, messages from senders not registered on a paid basis will be blocked."

MTS, unlike other operators, always took 2,000 rubles. for a short name. But I never blocked messages. They could simply come to the user from different numbers. But in the case of Megaphone, it turns out already some kind of blackmail. Like pay 2000 rubles, or messages will not be delivered at all.

I checked that messages to Megafon and Yota do not really go away. The error "Denied by operator spam filter" is returned.

The situation is extremely unpleasant. We don't send many SMS. I don't want to spend 24 thousand a year. As a result, it will probably be easier to organize your own gateway based on a regular GSM modem.
