Russia (bbabo.net) - Investigators opened a criminal case into the death of a man in a fire in the north-west of Moscow. This is reported by the portal of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Moscow.

The Khoroshevsky Interdistrict Investigation Department of the Investigation Department for the North-Western Administrative District of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Moscow opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence").

According to the portal, on the night of January 16, 2022, a fire broke out in an institution located on Shelepikhinskaya embankment. Two employees of the restaurant were injured, one of them died. The second victim was taken to the hospital.

Investigators are conducting a set of initial investigative actions aimed at establishing all the circumstances and causes of the incident.
