Russia (bbabo.net) - Police detained a resident of the Irkutsk region who did not pay for a selected product in a store, instead shooting at the ceiling with a pistol.

As told today in the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the incident occurred last Saturday in one of the shopping facilities on Dzerzhinsky Street. The young man took a bottle of alcohol from the counter and, without paying for it, fired at the ceiling at the exit of the store.

Law enforcement officers called by the seller identified the shooter on the basis of CCTV footage - he is an 18-year-old resident of Irkutsk. The malefactor explained the actions by a state of intoxication. The shot, according to preliminary data, was made from a pneumatic pistol.

The violator faces a fine - up to 50 thousand rubles with confiscation of weapons and ammunition.
