- This year it is planned to use the super service for admission of applicants in more than 800 state universities and their branches, - said Dmitry Chernyshenko. - Since the number of educational institutions will increase significantly again, it is necessary to ensure the high quality of the superservice. Before the start of the admission campaign, but no later than May 2022, the Deputy Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Education and Science to test the Apply to University Online super service, send technical requirements for organizing work to universities and constantly interact with them.

What can be done with the help of the service?

- select universities for admission;

- send an application for consent to enrollment with the application of the necessary documents;

- find out about the dates of additional entrance examinations in universities;

- keep track of your place in the competitive lists;

- make changes to the application;

- find out about enrollment by receiving a notification from the university.

The superservice operates on the basis of the State Services platform, which means that you need to at least register there. The matter is simple, but very useful - not only to make it more convenient to apply to the university, but also for many other household "procedures" - pay for an apartment, make an appointment with a doctor, etc.

How to correctly apply for admission

After registering for "Gosuslug" you need to select the section "Applying for admission to a university" and fill out an application.

- Indicate the results of the exam and entrance examinations. If at the time of application the final results of the USE-2022 are not yet available, it does not matter. They will be transferred to the university automatically when they are published.

- Select the universities you want to enroll in. In 2022, this is no more than 5 universities (you can choose from 2 to 10 areas of study in each). The service has a built-in convenient search for universities and specialties.

- Indicate individual achievements and upload a supporting document, such as a diploma of participation in the Olympiad. This will give extra points for admission.

- Enter the details of the document on education, if it already exists - series, number, by whom and when it was issued. If the certificate has already been added to the personal account on the "State Services", then the data will appear automatically in the "Admission to the University Online" service.

- Do you want to act according to the target contract? Don't forget to indicate this.

- Next, send an application and follow the notifications from universities. Be careful: university admissions committees may ask you to replace copies that are hard to read. You need to react quickly. If the university conducts additional entrance tests, you need to enroll in them.

- Everything is ready? Additional tests passed? Keep track of your place in the competition lists - this can also be done online. And now - the most difficult moment: to choose a university where you will apply for enrollment.

- If necessary, the application can be withdrawn and submitted to another university.

- After the university publishes the orders for enrollment, you will receive a notification.

In the 2023/2024 academic year, universities will have more than 590 thousand state-funded places. This was announced by the Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov.

“Our task is to provide young people with affordable high-quality higher education where they were born and graduated from school,” the minister stressed. - Since 2020, we have been gradually increasing the number of budget places, the main part is received by the regions. This year, hundreds of thousands of first-year students will cross the thresholds of universities, more than 588 thousand of which will study on a budget. This is already 11.5 thousand seats more than last year. Growth will continue: for the 2023/2024 academic year, we will distribute 590,156 state-funded places to universities.

Today, more than 4 million people receive higher education at Russian universities, moreover, more than 324,000 came from abroad.
