Russia (bbabo.net), - Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov is undergoing planned preventive hospitalization on the recommendation of doctors, and this is not related to the coronavirus. This was stated by the head of the press service of the Communist Party, State Duma deputy Alexander Yushchenko.
In a commentary to TASS, he specified that the head of the party was placed in the hospital for several days - from Thursday and approximately until the end of the week. Treatment of Zyuganov, as a rule, takes place in the Central Clinical Hospital, his spokesman added.
According to Yushchenko, this decision was made taking into account the epidemiological situation, as well as the surgical medical interventions the politician has undergone over the past few years.
“In this case, Zyuganov is undergoing such preventive control,” his spokesman said. “From yesterday and, I think, until the beginning of next week, this will be a planned hospitalization, which is designed to prevent any difficult situations in this difficult epidemiological time.” .
According to him, doctors recommended a policy "to carry out certain preventive measures not caused by anything, by any viruses."
Yushchenko added that the Communist Party leader is in excellent health, he is busy with the current party agenda.
