A court has sentenced a Singaporean who harassed the couple to 18 months' probation, writes Asia One.

Xian Feng, 21, left packets of cookies and a note outside the couple's door saying he was offering his friendship, according to media reports. The recipients did not appreciate such a gesture, so they returned the package to the student, which made him angry.

After that, the Singaporean began throwing eggs at their door, throwing cigarette butts on the stairwell and chasing neighbors on the street. Moreover, Xian asked the couple not to close the windows at home so that they could see what they were doing.

The victims filed a complaint with the police. In December 2021, Feng was arrested and charged with persecuting two people. On February 7, the court sentenced the student to 18 months of probation. He must stay at home between 10 pm and 6 am and must also pay a $5,000 security deposit.
