On Wednesday, February 2, the St. Petersburg Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against a 34-year-old traffic police inspector of the traffic police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Vasileostrovsky district of St. Petersburg. This is the employee who directly wringed the hands of the operative.

Alexander Bastrykin's office determined for him Article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - "abuse of official powers." According to the part of this article that was presented to him, you can get up to a maximum of 10 years.

In official reports, the Investigative Committee did not name either the number of the police station or the names of all the participants in the incident.

But journalists literally in a few hours established the "initial data". By the time this case was initiated, it became known that the leadership of the St. Petersburg police fired the employees of the traffic police.

It all started at about eleven o'clock in the evening on the last day of January in the service parking lot of the 37th police department of the Vasileostrovsky district on Korablestroiteley Street.

The traffic police arrived there. According to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, the squad brought migrant workers to the department to draw up administrative protocols for them.

The traffic police officers parked their car unsuccessfully. What drew the attention of the operative of the same department Alena Yudina. She made a remark to her colleagues to move the car, as there were big problems with the place due to snowdrifts.

The conversation went nervously on both sides. For what reason they spoke impolitely, the investigation will now find out. The continuation of the conversation moved to the duty part of the police department, where the employee went, and after her came those who arrived.

Despite the fact that the officer on duty explained to the traffic police that the citizen who made the remark was their operative, the arrivals - Lieutenants Alexander Kolesnikov and Dmitry Perenyuk - demanded that the lady present an open certificate. Lieutenant Yudina refused. And then visiting traffic inspectors saw her holster with a pistol.

This turned out to be the "trigger" for the development of further events. Lieutenants Kolesnikov and Perenyuk, also armed, by the way, now began to demand from Lieutenant Yudina to show a permit for weapons. For refusing to comply with the demand, they threatened with a report to the higher authorities of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs about insulting them during execution.

The most incomprehensible thing in this story is why both, today already former traffic police officers, were not impressed at all by the words of the operational duty officer that they had a colleague in front of them. And why did Lieutenant Kolesnikov keep repeating that there was an unknown person with a weapon in the duty unit.

In the end, Alena Yudina got tired of participating in this performance, and she, slightly pushing Inspector Kolesnikov, told him frankly and in a rather harsh form everything that she thinks about him.

Considering that all police departments in the country are equipped with CCTV cameras, it is not necessary for the investigation to clarify who said what to whom and at what address they recommended to go.

At the end of the action, the assistant on duty opened the door to the duty room for Yudina. Alena went there, but one of the employees rudely knocked her down and twisted her arm so that later at the Mariinsky Hospital they diagnosed her with torn ligaments on her shoulder and a broken arm.

Colleagues of the traffic police officers arrived at the 37th department, when everything was over. They only had to disarm both violent traffic inspectors. And in the morning, the police authorities first announced that there would be an inspection, and after a short time decided to fire the employees.

Little is known about Alena Yudina. She is 24 years old, six years of which she has served in the police.

The head of the ICR Alexander Bastrykin demanded to report to him on all the circumstances of this case and on the progress of its investigation.
