Russia (bbabo.net) - Officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Bashkiria have detained two suspects in a daring robbery attack on a bank in the center of Ufa. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.
The robbery took place on the afternoon of December 25, 2021. Masked attackers broke into the bank with weapons and stole over four million rubles. A criminal case was opened under the article "robbery". During the investigation, the police found that the alleged hijackers were in Izhevsk. Operatives, with the participation of employees of the National Guard, detained the suspects. During the searches, they found a deactivated Kalashnikov assault rifle and part of the stolen money.
As Irina Volk noted, apparently the accomplices carefully prepared for the commission of the crime: in November 2021, they purchased a used VAZ-2110 car, which, after the robbery, was abandoned in a neighboring microdistrict. According to investigators, the alleged robbers spent part of the funds on buying cars: one of the suspects bought a LADA Priora for a friend, and the second Chevrolet Niva for his relatives. The cars have been seized.
- The detainees were taken to Ufa for investigative actions. In the near future, a preventive measure will be chosen for them, - said the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Irina Volk.
