Russia (bbabo.net), - The Ministry of Internal Affairs has published a draft of a new departmental order, which amends the process of deciding on the undesirability of foreigners. In particular, it is proposed to take into account the presence of relatives of such guests of our country who are citizens of Russia. After submitting the documents, information about the foreigner will be checked against the information system of migration registration and the central data bank for the registration of foreigners. The draft order also states that "if a stateless person is issued a temporary identity card of a stateless person, the decision on the undesirability of stay is canceled."

According to the law, the stay of a foreigner in Russia can be recognized as undesirable in cases of violations when entering Russia, the absence or loss of documents confirming the right to stay or reside in the country, as well as due to evasion from leaving the country after the expiration of the allowable period or violation of the rules of transit travel.

In addition, a decision on the undesirability of the stay or residence of a foreigner or stateless person in Russia can be made if the person poses a real threat to the defense capability or security of the state, public order or public health. The list of such grounds also includes cases where a foreigner "poses a threat to the protection of the foundations of the constitutional order, morality, rights and legitimate interests of others." It is noted that a foreign citizen or stateless person, in respect of whom a decision has been made on the undesirability of staying or residing in the Russian Federation, is required to leave the country within the allotted time. Otherwise, they will be deported.
