At least 12 people were injured when a gas cylinder exploded at the Mriya cafe in Stanytsia Luganskaya in the territory of the LPR. This was reported in the press center of the State Emergency Service.

On the evening of Saturday, February 12, an explosion occurred in the institution, and then a fire started. The fire area was 160 square meters. The fire was extinguished four hours after the detonation of the gas cylinder.

Eight people were hospitalized, four people are on outpatient treatment after receiving medical care.

Earlier it became known that on the night of Sunday, February 13, in the Donetsk region, there was a shooting on the territory of a cafe, two people were killed, two more were injured. The Donbass police detained two men because of the shooting at the institution, which happened due to a conflict between the visitors of the institution.

According to preliminary data, the shooting was carried out by two servicemen of the armed forces of Ukraine.

On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was initiated under the articles “premeditated murder”, “attempted murder” and “hooliganism”.
