More than 7,000 people came to the central race "Ski Tracks of Russia" in the city of Khimki near Moscow. The oldest participant was 84-year-old Yuri Isaev from Odintsovo.

It is very symbolic that just a few minutes ago, our women's cross-country skiing team took the “gold” in the relay,” said Dmitry Abarenov, Minister of Sports of the Moscow Region, before the start.
"Ski Track of Russia" is one of the most massive races in Europe. In total, more than half a million people in 70 regions of Russia took part in it.
“It's a great pleasure when you see thousands of people who came to the Ski Track of Russia with their families - both small and very elderly people. This unifying energy of a healthy lifestyle is most encouraging. I wish everyone to go to this ski track in order to fully experience the hospitality of the Moscow region, Khimki. A wonderful organization, as always,” said Oleg Matytsin, Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation.
