Spaniard poisoned man with laxatives and stole €75,000 from him

A resident of Spain poisoned her partner with laxatives and stole €75,000 from him, reports LADBible. While the man was in the hospital, the woman managed his money.

According to the media, a 70-year-old man from Valencia was admitted to the hospital with diarrhea, where he spent seven months. Doctors tried to improve the health of the patient, but their attempts were in vain. All this time, the patient was visited by his 55-year-old girlfriend, which later aroused suspicion among the doctors.

The fact is that when a man was moved to intensive care, his health improved dramatically, but as soon as they were placed back in the ward, he again began to feel bad.

During the investigation, it turned out that the Spaniard regularly visited the elderly man in the hospital and mixed laxatives into his food, which worsened the patient's condition.

While the Spaniard was on treatment, the woman spent his money. She managed to appropriate €75,000 when the patient's relatives noticed the loss and informed the police.

The woman was arrested, and several prescriptions for constipation medicines were found on her. Later it was reported that the pensioner died in the hospital. At the moment, the Spaniard is accused of fraud and misappropriation of money.

Previously, the wife convinced her husband that he had Alzheimer's disease and stole $600,000 from his account.
