Marketers told what they expect from employers

Among marketers, the importance of working in a young team is important only for 9% of respondents. “The results of the study showed that marketers from Moscow are more likely than others to want to work at VK, as it is a large company with recognizable products and an identity. The number of job openings for marketers has grown by 52% over the past year. The number of resumes grew by only 1% over the same period of time, according to hh.ru data.

Meanwhile, a quarter of marketers have less than a year of work experience, the same number have experience from 1 to 2 years. And only 13% of respondents have been working for more than 7 years. Almost all respondents are looking for a job mainly on job aggregator sites, and one in four is looking for a job or studying information about employers in Telegram channels. Another 22% are on Instagram and Facebook.

The survey involved 1,365 marketers aged 18 and over. The study was conducted by the method of online questionnaires in January 2022.
