Hyundai cars received the function of control from a smartphone

All buyers of new Hyundai cars in Russia, with the exception of Solaris sedans, will have access to telematic services that allow you to control the functions of cars using your smartphone. This was reported in the press service of the Korean brand.

The new service was received by the Elantra and Sonata sedans and the Santa Fe and Palisade crossovers, which have updated equipment and expanded the list of equipment. Previously, the system was already available on Hyundai Creta and Tucson crossovers. Also, support for the service will appear on the new Staria minivan, which will go on sale on February 17 this year.

With the Bluelink service, motorists can remotely start and stop the engine, control the climate control, lock and unlock doors, and close windows. The client also receives push notifications to the smartphone when the standard alarm is triggered or if the car doors are left unlocked.

The functionality also allows you to use your smartphone to receive data on the technical condition of the car, information about traffic jams and estimated time of arrival, information about the location of the nearest gas stations and the cost of fuel at them, video from all-round cameras, and more.

Earlier, Hyundai announced the price of the sports version of Solaris in Russia. It also became known that the Korean company thought about using chips from consumer electronics in the production of cars.
