The head of the UIIOS of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow, Colonel of the Internal Service Vladimir Vasenin, said that with the help of these fakes, the fraudster re-registered an apartment located on Zvenigorodskaya Street and then sold it to third parties.

The owner of the apartment, who was abroad, suspected something was wrong when she saw the personal data of an unknown person in her utility bills. Soon the woman found out that she was no longer the owner of the apartment, and contacted the police. The material damage amounted to more than 28 million rubles.

The swindler - a 35-year-old visiting man - was detained by the criminal investigation department of the Internal Affairs Directorate for ZAO Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow. He is taken into custody. His accomplices are being sought.
