"On behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Finance of Russia today will transfer funds to the Rostov Region to ensure payments in the amount of 10,000 rubles to all citizens of the DPR and LPR evacuated to Russia," TASS quoted the message as saying.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to urgently ensure the payment of 10,000 rubles to each refugee arriving in the region from Donbass. Acting head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Alexander Chupriyan will go to the region to create conditions for the accommodation of refugees there. In addition, refugees are promised to be provided with hot meals and medical care.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Donetsk People's Republic, the first buses with evacuated residents of the DPR have already headed towards the Russian border. In total, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the DPR intends to evacuate about 700 thousand residents of the republic to the Rostov region.
