According to the prosecutor's office of the Tver region, a message about a fire in a country house in the SNT "Yolochka" in the Konakovo district was received at about seven in the morning.
“During the extinguishing of the fire, the bodies of four people, including two children, were found,” the supervisory authority specified.
Employees of the territorial department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the police are working at the scene. In addition, employees of the criminalistics department of the regional investigative department and an investigator of the first department for the investigation of especially important cases left for the scene.
- An inspection of the scene is carried out, eyewitnesses of the incident, residents of neighboring houses are interrogated, the necessary objects that may be of evidentiary value are seized. Appropriate examinations have been appointed to determine the exact cause of death of two adults and two children, as well as the source and causes of the fire, said Valeria Pavlova, official representative of the regional investigation department of the RF Investigative Committee.
On the fact of the death of people, the investigating authorities opened a criminal case under part 3 of article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (infliction of death by negligence on two or more persons).
