The deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Poland, Maciej Wonsik, said that the stories about the murders of volunteers by the Polish security forces on the Polish-Belarusian border, which the soldier told the Belarusian TV, were implausible. Earlier, former Polish serviceman Emil Chechko told the Belarus-1 TV channel that he had allegedly witnessed the murders of volunteers on the border with Belarus.

Chechko previously served in the Mazurian artillery regiment. According to him, he personally saw how, on the border with Belarus, Polish volunteers asked the Polish security officials where they were taking the detained refugees, and one of them was shot in the forehead.
