Russia (bbabo.net) - An accident involving more than six cars occurred today in the Novoanninsky district of the Volgograd region, TASS reports.
According to preliminary data, two people died, there are injured.
One of the reasons for the accident was the departure into the oncoming lane of the Infiniti car, where it was skidded and a head-on collision occurred, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Volgograd Region told the agency.
According to local media reports, a truck from Kalmykia, a Lada Kalina from Dagestan, a Moscow Toyota Camry, an Infiniti from the Yaroslavl Region, as well as a Volkswagen Polo and Lada Priora from Volgograd crashed as a result of an accident.
Earlier, the traffic police in the region asked drivers to be careful on the roads due to worsening weather conditions.
"On some sections of federal roads, due to worsening weather conditions, there are difficult sections, and therefore additional crews of the regional traffic police battalion were sent to patrol. The traffic police urge drivers not to make rash risky maneuvers, dangerous overtaking, and use passive safety equipment without fail. ", - said the traffic police.
