Russian Aslan Karatsev reached the final of the tennis tournament in Sydney, Australia with a prize fund of over $520,000.
In the semi-finals, Karatsev outplayed Briton Daniel Evans in three hours with a score of 6:3, 6:7 (13:15), 6:3.
Karatsev, who received the first seed at the tournament, made nine aces, made four double faults and won four out of six break points.
