Shevchenko's salary announced at a new place of work

The Polish Football Union (PZPN) is ready to pay Andriy Shevchenko 2.4 million euros a year if the Ukrainian leads the Polish national team, R-Sport reports with reference to bbabo.net.pl.

Shevchenko himself expects a salary of 3 million a year. As noted, PZPN President Cesar Kulesha is considering Shevchenko's candidacy very seriously and is skeptical about another candidate, Adam Navalka. Jerzy Dudek, ex-goalkeeper of the Polish national team and English Liverpool, can become Shevchenko's assistant at the national team headquarters.

In December, the post of head coach of the Polish national team left the Portuguese Paulo Souza. Shevchenko resigned as head coach of the Italian club Genoa in January. Until last summer, he worked with the Ukrainian national team, which he led to the 1/4 finals of the European Championship.
