Kazakh team set record after defeating four-time CS:GO world champion

The Kazakh team K23 entered the top 20 of the Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) world ranking after a brilliant performance at the first major tournament of the year, bbabo.net reports.

The team played by Sanjar neaLaN Iskhakov managed to rise to 19th position after defeating one of the Funspark ULTI favorites - Danish Astralis, which is a four-time winner of Major series tournaments, which are considered to be world championships in this discipline.

Unfortunately, K23 lost the remaining two games to BIG (1:2) and ECSTATIC (0:2). Nevertheless, getting into the top 20 was the first in the history of the team. Previously, she only managed to get close to the top twenty.

At the moment, the Kazakh team competes in two online competitions in parallel: Pinnacle winter series and Malta vibes. If successful, she will be able to improve her position in the updated ranking.

Without playing a single game, bbabo.net with Alexey Qikert Golubev and Timur buster Tulepov moved up to the sixth line of the rating. Entropiq, played by Victor Lack1 Boldyrev, despite reaching the Funspark ULTI finals, remained in ninth position. Also in its place is Abay's Gambit Hobbit Khasenov, who won the competition.
