Chairman of the Board of FC "Aktobe" Yerlan Jamantayev spoke in an interview with "Evrika" about the transfer policy of the team, the budget for the new football season and the failed bridegroom for Gerard Gou.

The first head of the club said that he was waiting for only one star - on a T-shirt in honor of the championship. He also answered questions about debts to the players and opened up the transfer policy.

- Yerlan Aitpaevich, every time I ask every head of the club about old debts to the players and agents.

Everything was closed before me. We paid the last tranche in court to Vladimir Maminov in June. I gave our lawyers a task - and we no longer have debts to anyone. Almost all paid off before me.

- What about the salary and obligations to last year's players, taxes?

- We calculated the players completely. And they did it at the end of October. We paid taxes. There are also no debts for staff. Little things left. For example, debts to "Energosbyt" and the like. We are now waiting for funding. We participate in the tender, we are waiting for the state procurement. I hope that in February we will already be financed and completely close the "tails".

What is the final budget for last year?

– I can’t name the exact number. There are some difficulties with the calculation of sponsorship. After all, they did not always help us with money.

- And yet, is it more than 2 billion, or less?

- Less. I can tell you that the core team spent less than 2 billion.

What is the estimated budget for this year? It is clear that 1.2 billion tenge is from the state. What besides this? The sum was called both in 2, and in 3 billion. How much do you plan to raise the budget at the expense of sponsors?

“Numbers are a thankless task. It's premature to say anything now. After the January events, it is not clear how the government will turn to financing professional sports. Now is the time of uncertainty. You can plan for 50 billion, but you have to get them. We talked with sponsors, asked for an increase in payments. I haven't even received the money yet. I don't want to deceive you now. I don't feel like shaking the air now and saying how much it will be: 2 billion, 3 or a billion dbbabo.net. So far we have nothing. Let's talk closer to the season.

- Many, including myself, expected better amplification. Well, for example, if in the "support", then a football player of the level of Timur Kapadze, in the attack - the level of Heinrich, or Antonov.

- I will say that the position of a pronounced striker is always a problem. And the problem is not only Kazakhstan. This is a global problem. A player who starts to score more or less immediately raises the price tag. Does it make sense to overpay? Maybe he only gave such a season, scoring 12-15 goals.

Where is the guarantee that he will repeat the result next year? Those players who consistently score over more than one season are very expensive. But signing it, giving away a lot of money, and then sitting and praying: if only it doesn’t break, is also a double-edged sword. We will look for an attacker, but to match the price and quality.

- So you say that you save on everything, look at each player, count every penny, but at the same time you sign Stas Pokatilov, who, according to media publications, did not stay at Kairat due to salary cuts. It turns out that he comes to a big salary?

- I can’t disclose the salary, you have to ask Stas. I'll tell you this: let's take an average goalkeeper for 20 kopecks, and tomorrow we will have a hole in the back, and the whole team will suffer from this. We must have a key central axis. Savings is not about the fact that everything has been cut and that's it. Savings is the right distribution.

- As far as I know, now it is very difficult to call a football player for a trial. Agents want a contract right away.

- Yes. But this is wrong. It's like a cat in a poke. We weeded out a lot of players like that. An example of the same Gerard Gow. A very famous football player. Since November, we have been talking and knew that he would come to the training camp. We knew that he was overweight, but we were told that he also had a fitness coach, and he would lose weight and come ready. But he didn't come ready.

Honestly, looking at him, I became a very handsome big-eyed guy. I immediately said that this was disrespectful to us. You had two months. Something could have been done. Moreover, he threw off the order in the first 2-3 days. Why didn't he do this before he arrived? Can not be so. This is disrespect. We are not an amateur team, where you can come in any condition.

I'm not asking for two months of viewing. 4-5 workouts and a control game - that's it. If you praise him to us that he is the best in the world, what prevents him from coming and showing it? If he arrived unprepared, but I signed a contract with him, what am I supposed to suffer for the whole season? For our own money.
