The start time of Morozov's third fight in the UFC has changed

Kazakh UFC bantamweight fighter Sergey Morozov (17-5) on Sunday, February 13, will hold his third fight in the American promotion. After the weigh-in ceremony, some changes took place in the card, due to which Morozov will enter the cage a little later, the correspondent of bbabo.net reports.

The confrontation with the experienced Brazilian Douglas Silva de Andrade (27-4-0-1) is now in the queue not the second from the beginning of the fight, but the third. Initially, the fight was scheduled for approximately 05:20 am Nur-Sultan time, but now there has been a shift, due to which the fight will take place at approximately 05:50.

This happened due to a failed weigh-in by American William Knight (11-2), who exceeded the light heavyweight category limit by more than five kilograms, setting a new UFC anti-record. Now his fight with Russian Maxim Grishin (31-9-2) will take place not in light heavyweight, but in heavyweight, and will not be the seventh in line, but the first.

Note that another fight that was planned in the prelims between flyweight fighters Alex Perez (24-6) and Matt Schnell (15-6) was canceled after the former failed the weigh-in.

Recall that the fight of Kazakhstani Morozov can be seen live on the Match! Fighter TV channel, as well as on the paid UFC Fight Pass platform by subscription.

UFC 271 in Houston, Texas, USA will headline a middleweight title rematch between Israel Adesanya (21-1) and Robert Whittaker (23-5).
