Morozov's offender performed the first choke in 14 years

36-year-old Brazilian fighter Douglas Silva de Andrade (28-4-0-1) won his sixth victory in the UFC, strangling Kazakhstani Sergey Morozov (17-6) at the 271st numbered tournament, bbabo.net reports.

The seasoned Brazilian is a powerful finisher, finishing 22 of his 28 victories ahead of schedule. But much more often, Douglas' opponents lost by knockout (20), while with submissions, things are not going well for him.

For Silva de Andrade, this is the second victory by submission in his career, and the first in 14 years! In March 2008, he defeated compatriot Jorge Rodriguez with a similar rear naked choke at one of the regional Brazilian tournaments. It was Douglas' third fight in his professional career.

As for Morozov, strangulation from behind is his weak point. Four out of six defeats in professional MMA fighter from Aktobe lost in this way.

Note that now Sergey again has a negative record in the UFC - one win with two defeats.
