Video of Valieva's failed free program at the Olympics

The Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva, who was leading after the short program at the Beijing Olympics, failed in the free program and was left without a medal of the Games. A video of her free program is posted on the YouTube channel of the Olympiad.

Video: IOC Valieva announced three quadruple jumps in the program. She ended up falling off a quad toe loop and a triple salchow, and made a few more mistakes on other jumps.

For the free program, she received 141.93 points (fifth place), in total - 224.09. Japan's Kaori Sakamoto was nine points short of third place.

Russian Anna Shcherbakova became the Olympic champion, her compatriot Alexandra Trusova took the second place.

Valieva is the current champion of Russia and Europe, the owner of all three world records in women's singles.
