Kazakh speed skater Nadezhda Morozova commented on her performance in the mass start at the 2022 Olympics in Beijing, where she entered the top 15 in the final, bbabo.net reports.
She told why it was not possible to compete for medals.
“I performed well in the semi-finals. I got into the points, as planned. In the finals, there was only one choice - only to leave. Because the sprinters gathered. In my case, I had to leave, because I run longer distances, I have no chance in the sprint.
Now we are flying home, there will be a break of eight days. And we immediately fly to Norway for the World All-Around Championships," Morozova said.
Note that the skaters completed their performance at the Games in Beijing.
