Boycott the match? The KPL club commented on information about debts

Shakhtar executive director Yerlan Urazayev denied rumors of salary arrears, clarifying the situation at the club, bbabo.net reports.

Earlier it became known that the players of the Karaganda club intend to boycott the first round of KPL-2022 due to wage arrears.

“In principle, we have no salary arrears. We have additional payments to football players from sponsorship funds in our contracts. We have some moments with a delay. I think that this will be closed in the near future.

And the fact that the information has passed that the team wants to boycott this year is not true. I think that this year the team is very strong, and we will try to compete for high places in the championship," Urazaev said.

Recall that in the KPL-2021, the Pitmen under the leadership of Magomed Adiev took seventh place. In addition, Karaganda players reached the playoffs of the Conference League qualification, as well as the final of the Cup of Kazakhstan.

It should be noted that on March 5, Shakhtar will play Astana in the first round of KPL-2022. Earlier, the club signed a newcomer from Russia.
