Former coach of the IBF and IBO middleweight champion of Kazakhstan Gennady Golovkin (41-1-1, 36 KOs) Abel Sanchez named three boxers who can defeat the undisputed world super middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (57- 1-2, 39 KOs), reports bbabo.net.
According to Sanchez, Arthur Beterbiev (17-0, 17 KOs), David Benavidez (25-0, 22 KOs) and Golovkin are capable of this if they prepare well.
“The only fighters who can compete with Canelo are Beterbiev, Benavidez and a well-trained Golovkin. These are the only ones who are able to defeat Alvarez. They are the ones who will give him problems. Saul feels threatened by them,” Sanchez shared his opinion.
Recall that Alvarez will have his next fight on May 7 against WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol (19-0, 11 KOs). If Canelo wins in September, it could share the ring with GGG for the third time, who on April 9 will have a unification bout with Japanese WBA middleweight super champion Ryota Murata (16-2, 13 KOs).
