Today, March 18, the World Athletics Indoor Championships started in Belgrade (Serbia). According to the results of the qualification, Kazakhstani Mikhail Litvin made it to the semi-finals, bbabo.net reports.
In the qualifying round of the 400 meters competition, Litvin performed in the second race. The athlete was able to finish second, which gave him the opportunity to automatically break into the 1/2 finals with a time of 46.72.
The semi-finals will take place on the night of March 19th. The start is at 00.15 Nur-Sultan time.
In total, Kazakhstan is represented by three athletes at the World Cup. In addition to Litvin, David Efremov (60 meters hurdles) and Nadezhda Dubovitskaya (high jump) went to Belgrade.
