Kazakhstani Mikhail Shaydorov will not take part in the 2022 World Figure Skating Championships, which will be held in Montpellier (France) from March 21 to 27, bbabo.net correspondent reports.

Shaidorov was on the list of participants in the men's single skating, but the French embassy denied the Kazakhstani a visa. The athlete himself wrote about this Instagram page.

Let's add that the dance couple Gaukhar Nauryzova and Boysangur Datiyev were also declared from Kazakhstan at the World Cup.

The 2022 World Figure Skating Championships will be held for the first time in the French resort town of Montpellier, at the Zude de France arena from March 21 to 27. The competition will be held in the categories of men's and women's single skating, pair figure skating and ice dancing.
