The trailer of the film Solo about six Russian dancers has been released

The film company Russian World Vision presented the trailer for the documentary film Solo directed and written by Olga Pankratova.

The picture was filmed for four years in six countries: Russia, Belarus, Poland, Germany, Italy and France.

The heroes of the film about plastic culture are representatives of six dance styles: two academic (classical ballet and contemporary) and four "street" (pole dance, krump, hip-hop, vogue) - Bolshoi dancer Mikhail Kryuchkov, former artist of the Bolshoi Theater Alexei Torgunakov, artists Dmitry Politov (“Minute of Glory”, former Cirque du Soleil artist), Alena Dvoychenkova (“Dancing on TNT”), Dilyara Shakiryanova (“Dancing on TNT”, “New Dances on TNT”), Kristina Kasyanenko. “Overcoming oneself, circumstances, awareness of one’s capabilities, fierce competition for the evaluation of the jury and the public, euphoria from victories and support of like-minded people, the joy of realizing one’s growth, boundless horizons of creativity – this is the film Solo,” the authors promise.

The music of Ivan Dorn, Eighteen, DJ Pierre sounds in the picture.

Picture Solo is a member of the shortlist of pitching debutants in the framework of the MIFF.

The film will premiere on February 14 at the Karo Oktyabr cinema.
