Russia (bbabo.net), - Cats from the Hermitage got on the card of the American board game Cultures of the world, the press service of the museum reports on its page on the VKontakte social network.

In this game, a separate card is dedicated to each state, on which interesting facts about this country are written. On the card about Russia, among other things, it is indicated that the museum's treasures are guarded by 74 museum cats living in the basement.

The Hermitage notes that now the number of mustachioed museum employees has somewhat decreased: animals are regularly given to good hands.

But the Hermitage cats really live there, they even have a "Cat's House".

It is worth noting that now the exhibits are no longer guarded by pets. The museum has modern systems for protecting works of art, so, for example, rats cannot get into the vaults. And in the basement where cats live, cultural values ​​are not stored.

However, cats are not kicked out of the museum. They have become one of the brightest city sights, and employees of the institution during press conferences say that communication with tailed colleagues has a positive effect on the psychological climate in the team.
