Russia to resume international flights from five cities

Russia (bbabo.net), - At a meeting of the operational headquarters to prevent the importation and spread of a new coronavirus infection, it was decided to increase the number of regular international flights on a reciprocal basis. This was reported on the website of the government of the Russian Federation.

The decision was made taking into account the epidemiological situation in individual countries. Thus, the number of flights from Moscow to Budapest will increase from seven to 14, and from four to seven - from St. Petersburg to the capital of Hungary. Planes will fly from Moscow to Colombo (Sri Lanka) four times a week instead of two. The number of flights to Berlin from Kaliningrad will increase to six (now there are two), and planes will fly to Dusseldorf from this Russian city five times a week.

From March 1, it was decided to increase the number of regular flights per week to Greece on the routes Moscow - Corfu (from four to seven), Moscow - Mykonos (four), St. Petersburg - Athens, St. Petersburg - Thessaloniki, Zhukovsky - Heraklion, Yekaterinburg - Heraklion (with a frequency of two flights on each route). From March 1, restrictions on regular and charter flights from Russian points open for international flights to Cyprus will be lifted.

In addition, from February 21, flights from the international airports of Nizhnevartovsk, Stavropol, Khanty-Mansiysk, Yakutsk and Abakan to open destinations will resume with a frequency determined for other points in Russia, from which international air traffic has been resumed.

The operational headquarters also recommended that citizens be vaccinated before flying abroad to protect against a new coronavirus infection.
