Rosstat, in a publication dated February 9, which was devoted to the monetary income of the Russian population for 2021, mentioned the revision of the relevant data for the first pandemic year.

“The data have been updated compared to those previously published based on the results of annual calculations,” the ministry explained.

At the same time, the total amount of income of Russian residents in 2020 turned out to be almost 600 billion rubles. more than previously thought - 63.4 trillion rubles.

As a result, the statistical service emphasized that the fall in real disposable income for 2020 was 2%, not 2.8%.

According to the press service, such items as income from property, receipts of social payments and other cash receipts were revised.

During the revision, property receipts increased by 34.6%, mainly due to the payment of dividends to citizens (from 2.7 trillion to about 3.7 trillion rubles).

The information was specified on the basis of information provided by the Central Bank, the Federal Tax Service, Rosreestr and other departments.
