Russia (bbabo.net) - Next year, the family is expected to add aircraft with the names of significant Russian cities. This was stated at a meeting with journalists by the chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development of St. Petersburg Sergey Korneev.
The model of the vessel has already been determined - it will be the Sukhoi Superjet 100, a Russian medium-range narrow-body passenger aircraft. One of the most famous tourist spots in St. Petersburg will appear on his livery.
The project became a finalist of the Russian competition "Excellence in Hospitality-2021". According to the Committee for the Development of Tourism of St. Petersburg, the livery of the new aircraft will be another excellent reason to popularize the region and attract tourists. And not only in the future, when the indicators of the tourism sector will return to the previous volumes of world travel, but also right now, when the service market is mainly formed by the needs of domestic tourism.
“It seems to me that the current situation in the world with deferred demand will still play into the hands of St. Petersburg,” says Christina Tarasova, who presented the ship branding project at the Hospitality Mastery competition. “And the air passengers of such an aircraft will certainly come back here, get acquainted with our unusual urban atmosphere.
