Russia - Coronavirus restrictions tightened in Nizhny Novgorod region

Russia (bbabo.net), - Coronavirus restrictions have been tightened again in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Corresponding changes to the decree "On the introduction of a high alert regime" were signed by Governor Gleb Nikitin.

There is no need for radical measures, the head of the region explained, all the renewed restrictions were in effect for some time before. Due to the rise in the incidence, a number of bans will have to be returned.

In particular, children are once again prohibited from visiting shopping malls unaccompanied by adults. The restriction on the work of public catering is returning: they are forbidden to receive visitors from 23:00 to 6:00, at this time they can only work for take-out and delivery. This measure does not apply to those establishments that retain the admission of visitors using a QR code. Any dance parties and karaoke in cafes and restaurants are prohibited, even if they accept visitors using QR codes. The ban on discos and nightclubs remains.

Until March 31, the period of self-isolation for pregnant women is extended. Until the same date, employers must transfer at least 30 percent of employees to a remote work format.

If students in grades 9-11 are quarantined, school authorities are obliged to provide the educational process for them remotely.

- Omicron is highly contagious. Remember that one person with an omicron can infect ten or more people. If you suddenly feel unwell, isolate yourself immediately and consult a doctor. What is especially disturbing is that children began to get sick more. Thus, the high alert mode is not cancelled. I understand that everyone is tired, however, precautions come to the fore. I beg each of you to take this seriously,” wrote Gleb Nikitin on his Instagram.
