Stephane Dujarric, the official representative of the UN Secretary General, spoke about the future format of the work of the mission of the world organization in Ukraine. It is reported by TASS.

Journalists asked Dujarric if there is evidence that the US is withdrawing its staff from the UN mission in Ukraine, similar to the situation with the representation of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).

“There are no changes in the presence of the UN in Ukraine,” he said in response.

Earlier, OSCE Secretary General Helga Schmid said that the special monitoring mission (SMM) of the organization in Ukraine will continue to fulfill its mandate in this country without suspension.

Before that, information appeared in the media that employees of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe began to leave Donetsk by car. Previously, the American representatives of the monitoring mission decided to leave the region because of the threat of "invasion" from Russia.

The representative of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), Rodion Miroshnik, did not rule out that the recall of the OSCE representatives could be a preparation for a provocation.
