On the night of Sunday, February 13, in the Donetsk region, there was a shooting on the territory of a cafe, the victims of which were two people. This was reported on the website of the regional police department.

The incident took place in the village of Granite.

The Donbass police detained two men because of the shooting at the institution, which happened due to a conflict between the visitors of the institution.

According to the press service of the specialized prosecutor's office in the military and defense sphere of the joint forces, the shooting was carried out by two servicemen of the armed forces of Ukraine.

“As a result, a serviceman of the National Guard of Ukraine and a civilian were killed, two more people were injured of varying severity,” the supervisory agency said in a statement.

On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was initiated under the articles “premeditated murder”, “attempted murder” and “hooliganism”.

Earlier in the Ukrainian Dnieper there was a massacre. A conscript of the National Guard of Ukraine, 21-year-old Ryabchuk, received a service weapon in the morning and opened fire from it on the territory of the Dnieper Yuzhmash plant. Five people were killed, the soldier himself escaped with a machine gun and ammunition. The police of Dnepropetrovsk and neighboring regions were thrown into the search. Later it became known that Ryabchuk himself contacted law enforcement officers and surrendered to them.

After the incident, the State Bureau of Investigation of Ukraine opened a criminal case against the leadership of the national guard of the country under the article “negligent attitude of a military official to the service, which entailed grave consequences, committed in a special period, except for martial law” (part 3 of article 425 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) .
