The White House answered the question about the possible visit of Biden to Ukraine

White House Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that US President Joe Biden has no plans to visit Ukraine yet, despite the invitation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. She announced this at a briefing, TASS reports.

“At this time, I don’t have any travel plans that I can announce or that I can pre-announce,” she said.

Earlier, Zelensky, during a telephone conversation with his American colleague Joe Biden, invited him to visit Ukraine.

It is noted that there was no positive response from Biden. The interlocutor of the channel noted that the visit of the American president to Kiev against the backdrop of the current crisis is extremely unlikely.

Prior to this, the Presidents of the United States and Ukraine, Joe Biden and Volodymyr Zelensky, had a telephone conversation. The parties discussed the situation on the Russian-Ukrainian border.

Biden reaffirmed the US commitment to Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity and signaled that Washington, along with its allies and partners, would respond quickly and decisively to any further Russian aggression against Ukraine.
