The US intelligence services have been embarrassed three times over the past decades. This was stated by Czech President Milos Zeman, commenting on the forecasts of the American side about the conflict in Ukraine.

The politician recalled that a few days ago he said that there would be no war in Ukraine, because "the Russians are not crazy to embark on an operation that would do them more harm than good," RIA Novosti quotes Zeman's interview with Idnes.

Speaking about the alleged "invasion" of Ukraine, the Czech leader stressed that this is the third major embarrassment of the American intelligence services. The first, according to him, was in Iraq, where in they did not find weapons of mass destruction allegedly hidden there. The second was in Afghanistan, when the US intelligence services claimed that the Taliban (banned in the Russian Federation) would never capture Kabul. And now the third embarrassment is in Ukraine, Zeman noted.
