Russia - In the Crimean zoo, a baby alpaca was named Stop Coronavirus

Russia (bbabo.net), - In the menagerie of the Bakhchisaray Park of Miniatures, an alpaca cub born in early January was named Stop Coronavirus for the unusual color of its muzzle. This was announced by the director of the park Viktor Zhilenko.

As soon as the new pet was born, the zoo workers immediately noticed that the baby's face seemed to be wearing a black protective mask. “The name was chosen according to the spirit of the times,” Zhilenko explained. “There were a lot of comments and messages, even from entire labor collectives. But one of the visitors to the Bakhchisaray Miniature Park suggested calling the alpaca Stop Coronavirus for the “mask” on the muzzle. Everyone was tired of life in a pandemic, and I want to believe that this year she will slow down her pace or disappear from our lives altogether.

Social media users are already jokingly suggesting to simplify the name of the animal - and briefly call the alpaca Stack.

Alpaca was born on the night of January 6-7. His mother is brown Chernukha, and his father corresponds to his name White in color. Now Stop Coronavirus is successfully mastered in the aviary and is very curious. But visitors, unfortunately, cannot see it yet: we remind you that the menagerie zone of the Bakhchisaray Miniature Park is now temporarily closed due to the reconstruction necessary to obtain a license.
