Russia - Moscow doctors travel to nine regions to help fight COVID-19

Russia (bbabo.net), - Nine teams of Moscow doctors went to regions that need help in the fight against coronavirus infection. They include 56 specialists. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development, the head of the Moscow Operational Headquarters Anastasia Rakova. She said:

“Moscow has accumulated the largest experience in the country in combating COVID-19. We are trying to prepare the healthcare system for any development of the epidemiological situation and quickly adapt it based on the prevailing conditions. Now the peak of the incidence has been overcome in the capital, and we can provide assistance to other regions. became a regular practice for Moscow specialists from the very beginning of the pandemic, and now 56 doctors will again go to nine regions of the country for two weeks.The multidisciplinary teams include highly qualified doctors and nurses who have been treating COVID-19 in the capital's hospitals and clinics for almost two years." .

The brigades include doctors from leading medical institutions in Moscow: N.V. Sklifosovsky, O.M. Filatov, named after F.I. Inozemtsev, named after M.P. Konchalovsky, named after E.O. Mukhin, named after V.P. Demikhov, named after V.V. Vinogradov, named after S.S. Yudin, named after L.A. Vorokhobov, named after I.V. Davydovsky, MMCC Kommunarka, infectious diseases clinical hospitals No. 1 and No. 2, Hospital for war veterans No. 3 and city hospital No. 13. The brigades include doctors from children's hospitals: the city hospital named after Z.A. Bashlyaeva, named after G.N. Speransky, named after N.F. Filatov, St. Vladimir and Children's Infectious Diseases Hospital No. 6. As well as the chief doctors and employees of the capital's polyclinics: GP No. 2, DC No. 3, DC No. 5, GP No. 6, GP No. 68, KDP No. 121, GP No. 191 and GP No. 219. Each team consists of specialists of various profiles - infectious disease specialists, anesthesiologists-resuscitators, nurses, epidemiologists.

They will go to the Kursk, Saratov and Amur regions, the Chuvash Republic, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, the Trans-Baikal Territory, the Altai Territory, Nizhny Novgorod and the Republic of Crimea. Depending on the epidemiological situation in the region, the team will provide consultative and diagnostic assistance.

This is not the first trip of Moscow doctors during the pandemic. More than 250 specialists from Moscow medical organizations visited 14 regions. They traveled to North Ossetia, Ingushetia, Dagestan, Tyva, Udmurtia, Khanty-Mansiysk, Zabaykalsky and Kamchatka regions, Vladimir, Pskov regions and other regions, as well as to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The capital's specialists assessed the situation in the region and provided consultative and diagnostic support to physicians of local hospitals.
