- The Oryol region has confirmed the ability to accept and accommodate refugees from the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics, - he said. - We sent a notification about the placement of the first 500 refugees, we have already held meetings of the CoES at the Ministry of Emergency Situations with our participation.

He noted that a headquarters will be created in the region to coordinate the situation with the reception and accommodation of refugees, and very soon the places for temporary residence of people will be officially approved: they are selected both in Orel itself and in other municipalities of the region. The head of the region stressed that he hopes that all caring residents of the region will participate in supporting refugees.
