The Russian military helped them, as a battle broke out and armored vehicles rushed to help the Ukrainian saboteurs who had already penetrated us.

As reported on Monday in the press service of the Southern Military District (SMD), it was possible to stop an attempt to violate the state border of the Russian Federation. It was undertaken, according to the military, "by a sabotage and reconnaissance group from Ukraine."

The incident occurred on February 21 at about 6 am Moscow time near the village of Mityakinskaya, Rostov region.

"The border detachment of the FSB of Russia discovered the penetration of a sabotage and reconnaissance group from the territory of Ukraine.
