He was taken to the hospital, ”Kononov told RT, noting that this is the third attempt to assassinate him.
In addition, two explosive devices went off today on the Donetsk-Gorlovka highway, three people who were in a civilian car became victims of the explosions. On the same day, employees of the Ministry of State Security of the LPR reported that they had prevented a terrorist attack in the Friendship of Peoples Square in the center of Lugansk. It is assumed that the explosive device was supposed to work during a rally dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of combatants who performed their duty outside the Fatherland. The event was scheduled for 10:00 local time, around 6:30 a local resident called the police and reported that he had found a strange object in the trash can. This "object" was a homemade explosive device, consisting of a mobile phone, an electric detonator, two TNT blocks with a total weight of 400 grams and striking elements.
