Tatarstan will provide refugees with medical care and jobs

Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - In the Republic of Tatarstan, medical services are ready to receive refugees from the DNR and LNR. Control over the provision of medical care will be carried out personally by the Minister of Health of the Republic, Marat Sadykov, RBC reports.

Refugees will be met by ambulances, rapid tests for COVID-19 will be carried out. Emergency medical care, if necessary, will be provided at the Republican and Children's Clinical Hospitals, the Interregional Clinical and Diagnostic Center and Hospital No. 7, and the Naberezhnye Chelny emergency hospital.

According to the Ministry of Health, there is a sufficient supply of vaccine against COVID-19 in the republic. Vaccination, if required, will be carried out centrally in the places of residence of migrants. Pediatric services are also preparing to provide medical assistance to arriving children in an enhanced mode. “The Pediatric Service of the Republic is also preparing in an enhanced mode to provide assistance to arriving children,” the press service of the ministry reports.

The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan reported that it is planned to offer jobs to internally displaced persons. To date, more than 53 thousand vacancies have been opened in the republic with an average salary of about 40 thousand rubles.

The Ministry of Labor also plans to organize work with target groups: mothers with children, minors and the elderly. “All forces will be directed to ensuring their social security and well-being. Specialists of employment centers and social protection departments are ready to provide assistance to citizens on the ground,” the press service of the ministry said.
