Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov commented on the Pentagon's statement about the involvement of the Russian military in war crimes in Ukraine.

The diplomat noted that the Americans should refresh their memory of the bombing of many countries undertaken by them and their NATO allies, including Syria, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan and Yugoslavia, where Washington committed egregious crimes.

The message posted on the diplomatic mission's Telegram channel also notes that Ukrainian radicals used the tactics of the Nazis during World War II, using children and women as human shields. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine use prohibited weapons against the civilian population, including cluster munitions and prevent the evacuation of citizens, simultaneously engaging in forced mobilization.
