This opinion was expressed in an interview with Izvestia by Georgy Muradov, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea under the President of the Russian Federation, Deputy Prime Minister of the Crimean Government.

“According to many Crimean experts, taking into account not only the attacks on Crimea, but also the ongoing shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, the dam of the Kakhovka reservoir, peaceful facilities on the territory of Russia, the DPR and the LPR, all the prerequisites have developed to qualify Kyiv’s actions as terrorist . This puts on the agenda the political issue of changing the format of the military operation,” the politician said.

At the same time, he noted that, based on an analysis of the latest statements from Washington, “new anti-Crimean provocations of the NATO-Ukrainian alliance” have already been prepared.

One of such provocations, the Deputy Prime Minister considers Kyiv's planned holding of "the next congress of the platform for the 'de-occupation of Crimea'."

Earlier it was reported that Georgy Muradov expressed confidence that the Crimean bridge and the resort areas of the republic are reliably protected, but if Moscow sees a threat in provocations from Kyiv, it will launch preemptive strikes.
